California State-Certified Prescribed Fire Burn Boss (CARX)

The California Prescribed Fire Council CARX Directory Registration Form allows current California State-Certified Prescribed Fire Burn Bosses (CARX) to add their name, service area, and contact information to the statewide CARX contact list.

This free resource helps connect landowners, Prescribed Burn Associations (PBAs), agencies, nonprofits, and community partners with qualified CARX professionals throughout California.

The directory is available at no cost and is open to all current California State-Certified Prescribed Fire Burn Bosses in good standing. Participants may choose to list their contact information, areas served, organizational affiliation, and prescribed fire services offered.

The goal of the directory is to:

• Increase access to qualified prescribed fire leadership
• Support community-based prescribed fire capacity
• Help landowners identify local CARX professionals
• Strengthen prescribed fire networking and collaboration statewide
• Promote safe, professional prescribed fire implementation across California

Current CARX holders are encouraged to submit their information and help expand California’s growing prescribed fire practitioner network.
